¡Feliz Domingo de la Santísima Trinidad a todos! ¡Que la Santísima Trinidad los bendiga siempre a ustedes y a sus familias! Celebramos uno de los dogmas de la Iglesia: la Santísima Trinidad. Cada vez que hacemos la señal de la cruz, recordamos nuestra fe en Dios, el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo, tres Personas en un solo Dios, un Dios de unidad. Dios desea la unidad en cada familia en medio de la fuerza divisoria del mundo. Como dice el refrán: “La familia que reza unida, permanece unida”. Una familia unida en la oración es una familia unida en el amor y la paz. Dios es el Dios de la unidad y la paz. Quizás nos resulte difícil comprender plenamente que 1+1+1=1, pero la voluntad de Dios es diferente de nuestra voluntad, por eso se llama el misterio de la Santísima Trinidad. Entendemos este misterio a través de los ojos de la fe. Por eso debemos crecer en la fe, en la santidad y en nuestra unidad con Dios. Dios quiere que estemos unidos a él en espíritu y en verdad Ante Dios, ya no somos méxicoamericanos, asiáticoamericanos o filipinoamericanos, sino más bien “buenos samaritanos trinitarios americanos”. ¡Amén!
A Blessed Trinity Sunday to all! May the Holy Trinity bless you and your family always! We celebrate one of the dogmas of the church, the Most Holy Trinity. Every tome we make sign of the cross we are reminded of our faith in God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, three Persons in ONE God, a God of unity. God desires unity in every family amidst the dividing force of the world. The saying goes, “the family that prays together stays together”. A family united in prayer is a family united in love and peace. God is the God of unity and peace. Maybe its hard for us to fully understand 1+1+1=1, but God’s will is different from our will, that why its called the mystery of the Holy Trinity. We understand this mystery through the eyes of faith. The reason why we must grow in faith, in holiness and in our oneness with God. God wants us to be united with him in spirit and in truth. Before God, we are no longer Mexican-American or Asian-American or Filipino-American, but rather “Good Samaritan-Trinitarian American”. Amen!
