¡Que tengan un feliz Domingo de la Ascensión, tanto a ustedes como a sus familias! ¡Que Dios los siga bendiciendo siempre! La Ascensión de nuestro Señor Jesús marca el final de su ministerio en este mundo, pero también el comienzo de la Iglesia en Pentecostés. La Iglesia, como pueblo de Dios, ya había comenzado cuando Jesús inició su ministerio, no como una estructura o un edificio, sino como pueblo de Dios reunido en la presencia de Jesús. Es la misma Iglesia que siguió creciendo a través del viaje misionero de los apóstoles. La Ascensión nos recuerda la naturaleza divina y humana de Jesús, que es Dios todopoderoso, omnisciente, amoroso y misericordioso. Esta solemnidad nos llama a crecer en la fe y a continuar la misión de Jesús, recordándonos el privilegio bautismal de compartir los roles sacerdotales, reales y proféticos de Jesús. Que la Ascensión de Jesús a nuestros corazones nos haga crecer en la fe y amar a Dios a través de los demás, ahora y para siempre. ¡Amén!
A Blessed Ascencion Sunday to al and your family! May God Continue to bless you always! The Ascension of our Lord Jesus signals the end physically of his ministry in this world but signals the beginning of the church on Pentecost. The church as people of God has already begun when Jesus started his ministry not as a structure or building but as people of God gathered together in the presence of Jesus. It’s the same church that continued to grow thru the apostle’s missionary journey. Ascension reminds us of the divine and human nature of Jesus who is all powerful, all knowing, all loving and merciful God. This solemnity calls us to grow in faith and continue the mission of Jesus, calling us to mind our baptismal privilege to share in the priestly, kingly and prophetic roles of Jesus. May the ascension of Jesus into our hearts make us grow in faith and love God thru others now and forever. Amen!
