Happy and blessed Sunday everyone! I hope and pray that you have a great 4th of July celebration! Today’s Gospel reminds us of the most comforting words of Jesus, “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am meek and humble of heart and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and burden light.” Jesus knew all our struggles in life, our burdens, our worries and anxieties of daily life. We are not alone in this storm of life. We are covered, protected and surrounded by God’s presence. When fear creeps in, remember, God stationed angels around us. God is our refuge, our hiding place, our shield. Psalm 91:1 says, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the almighty. Our safety isn't in our strength but in staying closer to God. Trade restlessness for the stillness of God’s presence of God. God is not just watching over us, he is fighting for us. Let us dwell in the shelter of the most high. Jesus calls us, “Come to me! And learn from me for I am meek and humble of heart!” God bless everyone! Amen!

¡Feliz y bendito domingo a todos! ¡Espero y rezo para que tengan una excelente celebración del 4 de julio! El Evangelio de hoy nos recuerda las palabras más reconfortantes de Jesús: “Vengan a mí todos los que estan fatigados y agobiados, y yo les daré descanso. Lleven mi yugo sobre nosotros y aprendan de mí, que soy manso y humilde de corazón, y hallaran descanso para nuestras almas. Porque mi yugo es suave y mi carga ligera”. Jesús conocía todas nuestras luchas en la vida, nuestras cargas, nuestras preocupaciones y ansiedades de la vida cotidiana. No estamos solos en esta tormenta de la vida. Estamos amparados, protegidos y rodeados por la presencia de Dios. Cuando el miedo se apodere de nosotros, recordad que Dios ha puesto ángeles a nuestro alrededor. Dios es nuestro refugio, nuestro escondite, nuestro escudo. El Salmo 91:1 dice: “El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo descansará a la sombra del Todopoderoso”. Nuestra seguridad no está en nuestra fuerza, sino en permanecer más cerca de Dios. Cambia la inquietud por la quietud de la presencia de Dios. Dios no solo vela por nosotros, sino que lucha por nosotros. Moremos al amparo del Altísimo. Jesús nos llama: “¡Venid a mí! ¡Y aprendan de mí, que soy manso y humilde de corazón!”. ¡Que Dios los bendiga a todos! ¡Amén
